Buenos Aires, November 28 (NA) – Alejandra Monteoliva will be sworn in as the new Minister of Security next Tuesday at the Casa Rosada in the presence of President Javier Milei, the Argentine News Agency reported. The leader, who comes from Patricia Bullrich's circle, will formally take office on Tuesday, following the farewell ceremony held on Friday by the new head of the La Libertad Avanza senators' bloc for the Security portfolio. The ceremony will take place in the White Hall of the Casa Rosada, where the current Secretary of Security will officially assume the leadership of the Ministry. Meanwhile, the assumption of office by the new Minister of Defense, Carlos Presti, is scheduled for around December 10, as outgoing minister Luis Petri will remain in his post until the end of his term as a national deputy for Mendoza. According to reports, Petri is trying to resolve some issues within the military portfolio, which is why the change in leadership has not yet taken place. In the meantime, Petri and Presti will attend two events together in the coming days: one regarding the purchase of aircraft for the Air Force and another concerning the acquisition of tanks.
